AppliedNet, Applied Systems’ annual user conference was September 9th-12th in Nashville, TN, brining together the insurance agency industry’s leaders, agents, and carriers to discuss challenges and learn about new technologies. It was a major highlight being able to introduce our enhanced Applied Epic-Formstack Sign integration and demonstrate the bidirectional capabilities during AppliedNet.

This powerful collaboration, now boasting a roundtrip integration, addresses a key request from our hundreds of joint customers: the automatic saving of digitally signed documents back into the Applied Epic activity record. It serves as major leap forward for insurance agencies seeking to streamline workflows and improve data management.

The Power of Efficiency and Accuracy

The lifeblood of any insurance agency lies in smooth agent-customer interactions, and securing signatures plays a crucial role. The Formstack for Applied Epic integration streamlines the process for both parties, delivering significant benefits:

  • Reduced Time Spent on Administrative tasks: Agents can send documents directly from Applied Epic and be saved back on that contact record, eliminating manual data entry and saving valuable time.
  • Enhanced Data Quality: Signed documents automatically populate the corresponding activity record, ensuring accuracy and completeness within Applied Epic.

A Streamlined Workflow

Here's a quick recap (and demo) of how the integration simplifies the signing process:

  1. Select insurance documents within Applied Epic and choose "Send to eSignature."
  2. Designate recipients and choose an email or SMS notification method.
  3. Drag-and-drop to position signature fields and capture any necessary additional information.
  4. Add a personalized message and send for signature.
  5. Signed documents are automatically saved back to the corresponding activity record in Applied Epic.

Key Features

  • Send Multiple Documents as One: This popular feature simplifies the process for customers who need to sign multiple documents.
  • Standalone Formstack Sign Interface: Agents can handle one-off documents outside Applied Epic through a convenient upload system.
